
I am a firm believer in the importance of a trauma informed and strengths based practice, and a dedicated advocate for harm reduction and accessible mental health treatment for all. My treatment approach is collaborative, and often uses a combination of cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and somatic therapy. I believe that we all have the potential for growth and change, and that our sense of wellbeing is directly impacted by both our individual experiences and by the systems in which we exist. In treatment, we will focus on developing your strengths while overcoming any barriers you may be facing; we will work as a team towards the goals that you define. There is no place for shame or judgement in my practice, and dignity, inclusivity, curiosity, and compassion will always be at the forefront of the work that we do together.
